It’s Coming Fast!

It’s coming fast, like a freight train, but a freight train full of wonderful  things!  All over the country and even much of the world, people are counting down to the holidays, to the end of the year, to New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.  December is full of shopping, planning, parties, and travel.  It is a time to be with family and friends, and mentees too.   The hustle and bustle may be a tad stressful, but it is oh, so exciting!

The mentoring community is excitedly counting down to National Mentoring Month.  That’s right, January is National Mentoring Month,  the busiest month of the year for Mobius, and for mentoring programs around Vermont and around the county.  We are preparing for a month-long celebration of mentoring, and a big push to recruit new mentors.

Shelburne Farms Sleigh Rides – NMM 2011

Mobius has so much planned for January:  the annual Thank Your Mentor breakfast, the annual Sleigh Rides at Shelburne Farms, the Burlington Ensemble Concert focusing on “Mentors,” the annual bowling party for mentor pairs, and more.
