Windsor County Partners’ Annual Open House and Soda/Seltzer Tasting – January 29

On Friday, January 29th, Windsor County Partners hosted their 2nd Annual Open House at their headquarters in the historic Windsor House in Windsor, VT.   The Open House again featured a gourmet soda and seltzer tasting which all attendees enjoyed.  For the second year in a row, San Pellegrino Orange won in the Seltzer category.  In the Gourmet Soda category, Virgil’s Orange Cream took the blue ribbon.  It beat out Foxon Park Birch Beer (last year’s winner) and Maine Root Sasparilla, which finished third.

The regional business community showed their support for youth mentoring by sponsoring the Open House.  Event sponsors included Green Mountain Power and Springfield Buick GMC.    Tasting table sponsors included Alpine Motor Works, LaValley Building Supply, and White River Family Eye Care.  Snacks sponsors were All Seasons Construction, Cool Snow Globes, Christopher Fauver (DDS), Knight Funeral Homes, and Wilson Tire.
