Vermont Mentoring Grants
2025-2026 Grant Year
MENTOR Vermont envisions a future in which every young person in Vermont has the supportive mentoring relationships they need to grow and thrive. In order to achieve this goal, we have collaborated with our funding partners to create the Vermont Mentoring Grants. With funding support from the Vermont Department for Children and Families, MENTOR Vermont strives to support, expand, and enhance the quality of existing mentoring programs, while also helping to establish new youth mentoring programs. We support this critical work by grantmaking and providing technical assistance, with the ultimate goal of sustainably increasing the quality and quantity of mentoring matches statewide.

2025-2026 Vermont Mentoring Grant Timeline:
- July 14, 2025: Grant Eligibility Form due
- June 23 – July 25, 2025: Pre-grant writing meetings
- August 10, 2025: Grant application due
- September 1, 2025: Grant decisions
- October 20, 2025: Quarterly financial report due
- January 20, 2026: Mid-year grant report and quarterly financial report due
- April 20, 2026: Quarterly financial report due
- May 31, 2026: Grant end date
- June 20, 2026: Year-end report and quarterly financial report due
